This morning I made a detour on my usual bus ride and walked to the stables. It was pouring rain this morning, and I was going - nah - I'll ring up and cancel. But then I thought...adults do this to kids! And kids get really disappointed. And then the kids turn into adults and do the same to their kids because they were taught that rain is not going out weather!
So I went and am glad I did! Felt a little self conscious having a 7 year old help me with my helmet and mounting the horse, but they were nice enough. Man I would have loved hanging around a stable as a kid!
1/2 hour went by so quickly, and it left me thinking I'd like to have more private lessons of an evening, as its so fun!
